Small brand picks for stocking fillers

Small brand picks for stocking fillers

Did you know small business teams do a dance every time an order is placed? I know at Totter + Tumble, we all feel the thrill of the support as orders come through.
This Christmas, the Totter + Tumble team are all pledging to support fledgling brands and local stores as we shop for our loved ones. Here we share our stocking filler wish lists for our own kids.

My children can expect a snuggly hat from Little Hotdog Watson - it's our go to brand for winter warmers as well as a book or two from our local, independent book store, Tales of Moon Lane. Book shops are always magic, but even more so at Christmas!

My little one received a Maileg Mouse last year, so he'll find one of their Elves inside his stocking this year and we will continue to add to the little festive collection each Christmas. I know he will be very excited about a hot chocolate kit from Maple Molly's as well, they are perfect for Christmas Eve boxes too.

I'm eyeing up Babiators for my two. Stylish, practical and they even replace them if they break or are lost! Also some small secondhand toys, a sustainable option that make the planet and my children happy. Facebook Marketplace, The Toy Project or The Octopus Club are good places to look.

My boys will find play dough and fizzys from Playspirations in their stockings, to use in their Inspire My Play tray and a recycled ocean plastic litter picker from small UK brand Water Haul. They'll love having their very own picker ready for beach cleans in our costal community.

I love all of the prints from Little Swallow Shop so my little lady will have a new Christmas romper in her stocking. As well as that, I'm coveting the Story Spoons by Tuff Stuff, which I think will be fun for playtime at home.
