At 250cm x 150cm, the XL play mat is the largest one piece baby mat on the market. It makes a great alternative to an area rug in classic Persian and Batik designs. For this new collection, we've used specialist printing techniques which allow us to have the beautiful border and intricate detail- we can't believe it's not an actual rug either!

Most beautiful playmat that has become essential to our lives!
"I found out about Totter & Tumble early in my pregnancy and contemplated for the longest time whether to buy one of their playmats or a less expensive alternative. When little one was born we were gifted a quilted playmat that she loved for tummy time. When she turned 4 months old, I noticed that she was trying to become more mobile, but the quilted playmat was too soft and did not support her at all. This is when I decided to just go for the Ardingly playmat as I had read so many amazing reviews. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Within a week of its arrival, my 4. 5 months old was rolling both tummy to back and back to tummy! At now 6 months old, she has started showing signs of crawling. The mat is very soft but remains firm which allows her little toes to grip and push. We spend every minute of baby’s wake windows on the mat, it is so big that little one hasn’t discovered our hard floor yet 😂. It’s also very comfortable for adults (and a blessing for tired knees). The playmat is ridiculously easy to clean. The care guide on the website advises not to vacuum it which I thought would be annoying but because of the material, it doesn’t really need vacuuming, wiping with a damp cloth is more than enough. We have the playmat in our living room under the sofas and we have received an insane amount of compliments from family and friends. The sofas do leave a dent in the playmat that will not self-heal but we don’t mind as we don’t plan on moving it."

Our extra large 150 x 250cm playmat is the biggest one piece play mat around. With two timeless designs in one amazing reversible playmat, you can choose your preferred side with a simple flip over. Can I put furniture on the playmat?
Totter + Tumble’s weightier memory foam means the surface will mould around you, and will seek to support anything on it. Temporary pressure marks from things like knobbly knees, elbows and even play equipment like Pikler triangles, will recover and it’s for this reason we always suggest observing any lasting dents over a few days. As your playmat eases into your home, you'll find it will get quicker at recovering from pressure spots the more you use it.
