Delighted with our mat
"So happy we discovered Totter + Tumble mats at a friend's house. Lots of lovely designs but really pleased with The Captain colour and pattern. Great that this doesn't require an anti-stick underlay for wooden floors, like normal rugs do. The standard size is super generous and really comfy underfoot but flat enough that my son's Playmobil toys will stand upright!"
Very glad I bought this mat
"After buying a mat for my baby’s nursery when she was born 6 months ago, I splurged and bought another one for the living room so I could have a dog-hair-free safe space for her to play downstairs. The mat is nice and cushioned and I can just brush it clean of dog hair, which is such an improvement from the rug I had there before. I love how it fits in the space, it looks like an “adult” rug in the space whilst still being great for her to play."

Fabulous Playmat
"My one year old daughter is absolutely loving her new playmat. The modern pattern fits right in with our decor. My daughter has spina bifida, meaning it’ll take her longer to crawl and walk. I know she is safe rolling around on this mat which is super squishy so she won’t hurt herself. It’s also firm enough to support her with her physio exercises. I only wish I had bought the larger size!"

"We are very happy with our purchase. We have been looking for a good mat for quite some time and wanted to spend our money on something of good quality and this is exactly what we were looking for. The design is amazing. It’s definitely on a pricey side but this mat will last us for a very long time. We have a big dog and I was scared that she may rip or scratch the by accident but this is not an issue at all. Mat is quite soft but thickness of it gives enough support for my knees and my baby."

"This is maybe a bit different as I bought this mat to replace a rug in the living room because I was fed up of dog hair being stuck in rug pile! It is perfect, as it provides warmth and comfort underfoot whilst also being really easy to clean and not retaining the smells associated with wet dogs and moulting. I’m now considering buying one for the playroom for the kids as I’m so impressed with the quality and durability"

After my friend bought one, raved about it and I subsequently tested it with her kids, I was convinced! She tells me that it doubles up fantastic as a changing mat space and yoga mat. - Would these be ok with heat from a log burner?
- Hi there! We would advise being in touch with your log burner company to check, as each is different. Whilst the thermal properties of the closed cell foam means that they are thermally stable - for example when used with under floor heating, remaining at a comfortable room temperature on the surface, log burners do emit different heats which we cannot advise specifically on and should an ember or spark fall onto the playmat it would leave a scorch mark. Typically, when it comes to log burners or excessive heat, we often find customers like to roll them away if they are too close - just to be on the safe side.

- Hi there! No plans for the Captain in the Play Runner at the moment.
- Are they easy to roll and store? Once rolled up, how wide is the diamenter? Thank you
- Hello! Whilst our playmats are designed to be out all the time, you can absolutely roll them away if you wish. Rolled, they take their width as length (so 140cm for the Standard, 125cm for the Compact), and approximately 20--25cm in diameter depending on how tightly you roll them. Our top tip is to keep the box halved to use either to store standing or keep neat under your sofa. Feel free to pop us an email if you need any more information.
